We had to change to this surgery many months ago (late 2023) because of dissatifaction with other local surgeries and although I would love to write a long list of compliments in this review, I think, in all honesty my wordage would simply be a copy of all the good "stuff" written in all the Five Star reviews relating to the Glendevon Medical Centre. From the doctors to the nursing and support staff, I believe one cannot find a better, caring bunch of professionals in the NHS.

We get an excellent service from this NHS GP service.

After having an ambulance out due to breathing difficulties in the middle of the night. After treatment of oxygen and being nebulisezed (100% excellent paramedics) I was advised to call my doctor in the morning. I called and was told the doctor would give me a call back (triage) The call was almost immediate with an appointment in just over an hour. My treatment was professional, thorough and caring. The doctor's attention to detail was second to none. He even took my bloods and days later called to check how I was and if the antibiotics were working This surgery offers excellent service and mantains such a standard. I am so grateful

I very rarely attend the GP however it was very necessary. Attended twice both times treated well. Good and positive medical advice given I feel that this is the best GP service in the area. Excellent.

Moved here from Worcestershire in the Autumn. Highly impressed with the practice team. Quick to respond. Love the econsult facility (equally good with non computer comfortable patients such as my elderly mum who has moved close by). When a physical appointment is required this is quickly offered.

Best GP practice for miles! I have been with this practice for 17 years. If you need a doctor you get a call the same day. If you need to see the doctor, again it’s same day. I have heard horror stories of people having to wait for up to 2 weeks in other practices in Torbay and South Devon, but This GP practice is truly second to none

This surgery are now suiting my needs as an autistic person. It’s taken a while to get to know my GP but now he gives me time, doesn’t rush me and is really caring. I’m still unable to get therapy via the nhs for c-ptsd.

Very poor experience as a visitor on holiday requiring medical help. I’d like to think a GP or nurse practitioner working here would have had no problem having a quick chat with me but sadly the evasive and unhelpful receptionist saw to it that that didn’t happen despite getting me to fill out the temporary registration form. Sad times.

I have been with this doctor's surgery on and off all my life. I dread having to switch to a new surgery when I move out of the catchment area, and am always pleased when I'm unable to register with them again. Glendevon medical center are by far the best doctor's surgery I know, they are caring, kind, professional and always have time for you. I have never not been able to get an appointment. All doctors, nurses and support staff I have encountered have been wonderful. This really is the best doctor's around!

This is one of the best Doctor medical centres around. Everytime i make an appointment i never have to wait very long and the staff are always happy and willing to help . They do really care, so a big thank you to all who work there.
