Really nice friendly pub, which is a lot more than I can say about most of the pubs in the town.

The Devon Arms is a traditional English pub, what I would call a "proper pub". It has a loyal local following because of the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen has recently re-opened offering good, honest pub grub daily including Sunday roasts. It is located in the Arts Quarter of the town a few steps from the Back beach. It has a wheelchair ramp at the front entrance for easy access and the staff are always on hand to help if needed. Well-behaved dogs and children are welcome. One of Teignmouth's best kept secrets is the pretty sun-trap beer garden at the back. The toilets are always clean in my experience and Ian and Jackie pride themselves on running an excellent pub.

We had absolutely delicious sunday roast. Selection of pork beef or chicken. Meat tender well cooked. Massive portions .. loads of vegetables.. soooooo yummy. Excellent service , very friendly and great atmosphere in a pub. Just perfect . Would definitely recommend.

Excellent home- cooked food at a very reasonable price. We ordered beef stew, veggie all-day breakfast & bacon sarnie, all very good. Also very clean everywhere INCLUDING THE LAVATORY! Highly recommended.

Booked for father's day roast. Generous meal. Pork and Lamb faultless. My father had beef he couldn't cut, nor chew. The woman that served us at bar was rude. If she rolled her eyes once at us, she rolled them at least 3 times. All because we paid in 3 transactions by 3 people. More of a locals place.

Had Sunday lunch here, top marks for price, size and quality, best Sunday lunch I have had for a long time. Very friendly and welcoming staff, all finished off with a nice beer outside in the sunshine, will definitely be back when I'm down this way again.

Old traditional bar. Food great. Staff great. Room clean with plenty of tea and coffee ☕ Mattress very comfortable, not on suite,but I used my she-wee!! Nice big bath. Homely.
