A proper tea room and a welcome break from the shopping in town. Cheerful staff who were most welcoming. Lovely coffee, super selection of cakes and pastries and good decor. Toilets clean and functional.

Simple food options but made with care and presented well. Tasty breakfast. Plenty of other meal options on the menu with tapas specials on Thursday. 😋

This lovely café was recommended to us by a local and we were not disappointed.
If you see the Costa nearby, walk straight past and come here instead 😊
We came here for a cup of tea and a panini at lunchtime on a Sunday. We really enjoyed the food and the ambience. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Teignmouth!

What a lovel cafe, staff are friendly, service was great, and the best thing for me as a coeliac is there was loads to choose from on the menu, and the owner even came out to talk to me about how it was prepped (separate kitchen used) to put my mind at rest over cross contamination. Wish I had that level of service at all the cafes/resturants. Five stars Finleys, very well deserved.

We had a lovely tapas meal here for my fathers birthday. The service was gently paced giving us time to appreciate the ambiance and decor over our free bread and olives and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the goats cheese and fig parcels!

We are regular visitors to Teignmouth, but this is the first time we have called into Finley Browns for lunch. It wasn’t busy and we had a lovely table by the window. I ordered tomato and red pepper soup, whilst my husband had a tuna and sourdough sandwich. My soup was absolutely delicious with a warm baguette on the side. My husband was delighted with his sandwich which was very generous, and accompanied by a side salad and some crisps. I would’ve liked to try the cakes, which looked delicious, but I couldn’t manage anything else. The staff were lovely, the café is comfortable and a little quirky, and all the other customers seemed to be enjoying themselves and their food. We will definitely return.

A Lucky Find!
We were out for a walk with our dog and fancied a late breakfast/brunch. We looked at a couple of places but they weren’t dog friendly. We stumbled across Finley Browns and grabbed the last table (they were full otherwise…always a good sign!)
The lady explained there was a 30 min wait as it was so busy and everything is cooked fresh. We ordered some milkshakes to drink whilst we waited for our order. They were huge….and delicious! We also ordered a Puppacino for our dog which she loved. The staff were very attentive and helpful. (Giving the dog treats too!) When the food arrived it was worth the wait! My husband and son had the Mega breakfast (see pic) and it was huge! I had the smashed avocado and egg on sourdough, it tasted delicious and was a good size portion. So glad we found this place…would highly recommend and we’ll definitely visit again!

Staff are extremely personable and welcoming, and the coffee was good. Delicious food in a comfortable atmosphere. The coleslaw was up to my mate's high standards.

Absolutely amazing! The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was just great :). The manager was very understanding of gluten free requirements and helped a lot. As my mum can't have gluten we had to order off the gluten free menu and only 3 things were not available that were on the normal menu which is very rare to find. I had an English breakfast muffin and it was luxurious I have never tasted a better muffin. For a drink, I had an Oreo hot chocolate and it tasted just like oreos!! My sister had a burger and she said that it was yummy. My dad had a chilli burger and he said "it was the most perfect burger ever." My mum had a cooked breakfast and she said "this makes me feel better about being gluten free" I also tried some and I couldn't tell the difference from the gluten free one and normal ones. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is gluten free or is in the mood for something delightful. Also shout out to the the man who gave us extra lotus biscuits they were yummy! :)

The best care in Teignmouth, if not Devon !
The staff are all so friendly and nothing to much bother. The cakes are all delicious and home made .
You can certainly see why it is so busy!
Will definitely be back next year!
