Not happy, quoted £120 + £20 per circuit over 6 for an EICR so £200 for the 2 bedroom flat I needed doing and another £10 because parking was a bit awkward, he knew that because he had been to the flat before. He was an hour and a half late, and then would only start if he could charge another £10 on top of the extra £10 we had previously agreed because of the awkward parking. He said if I didn’t agree to it he would just go. So all in all £220 for an EICR for a 2 bed flat (not including VAT). I thought throwing extra costs was trying it on a bit, particularly as he was so late and he’s not exactly cheap anyway! Anyway, worked out ok because I’ve just had it done by a fantastic guy who sorted it at short notice for £150 and didn’t moan once about the parking, or ask me to carry his tools to his van like this guy did!

Called out this company to find out why cooker hood wasn't working the contractor spent 2 hours fiddling with cooker socket pulled at wires which went bang and blew the socket then replaced socket which I was then charged for it was all fine before he came then I get I invoice for bill with a note saying electrics are at risk of fire contractor didn't say it was unsafe I still didn't know how to get cooker hood working so he spent 2 hours doing something which I never asked for I could of blew socket myself so was charged 2 hours work for nothing definitely would not recommend
