Very interesting talk on Teignmouth's history, built on the marshes. Lots to read and see on the 2 floors. Then a guided tour of the docks side of the town highlighting buildings with historical significance.

On a recent journey back to the UK I had the absolute privilege of finding The Teignmouth Heritage Museum and meeting Lorraine, Julie and Geoff. I arrived off the train, flustered and weighed down with luggage and discovered that there was no storage at the station. This visit was to see my Dads place of birth and revisit childhood holiday memories. The three of them become such an important part of my trip. I was relieved of my luggage and freed up to explore. I could not have done it without your kindness, your knowledge and your caring and delightful assistance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and see you all again next year.

This is a very nice and airy museum. Lots of interesting items about Teignmouth and local history, informative gives a great insight into the area. The staff are friendly and the admission fee very reasonable with free return visits for a year. All in all a good couple of hours entertainment.

Very nice, modern Museum. Came especially to see the WW1 exhibition. Interested to see some Teignmouth men served in the Royal Fusiliers, same as my grandfather. Nice photos and memories of Teignmouth. Has a lift and toilets
