The food and drinks were very good and came out very quickly. The servers are also extremely polite. Would recommend.

A delightful vegetarian brunch with friendly service. I enjoyed the no-quibble swap of my least favourite ingredient to a preferred option. The food and drink were hot, flavourful and well presented.

I had planned a different venue to eat but was very drawn to this cafe as we walked past so my friend and I went in. It was busy but there was a table for us. I’d spotted my favourite on the menu outside on the cafe wall which is coronation chicken in a panini with salad. The coronation chicken was so tasty and the panini nicely toasted. I put the salad in with the chicken see photo . Really enjoyed it . Very reasonably priced . The staff are very helpful. We will be back.

Pleasant atmosphere, but a bit messy on our arrival. Soup on the menu - but none today (at 1250). Went for a £10.95 panini - served with greasy (stale?) broken crisps: veggie sausage, onion and cranberry - but mostly bread. Took it to operators - answer: thats what we serve. No recognition of VFM, service, or even complaint. No attempt to rectify or make it up some other way. After that, being called ‘mate’ with every sentence began to rankle. So expensive, not friendly and what should have been a lovely little stop was very disappointing. Can’t recommend it. Vegetarian options: Limited. Veggie sausage or eggs florentine sums it up.

I had a breakfast which was ok but i thought could have been better. The egg was very small, the sausage was more like a chipolata and was overcooked. The rest was ok but not great and its not the cheapest. I would expect a bit more for the price. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient.

Wonderful. Have been threatening a visit here for a while. Dog friendly and no fuss at all. Seated in the window and the whole menu was brilliant. I had the 'fishermans' breakfast with a properly made and beautifully decorated cappuccino. The Champignon (mushrooms served with two poached eggs on a muffin in hollandaise sauce) was perfect. Coffee and tea superb. Toilets clean functional and presentable. Very highly recommended as a breakfast stop. I'll be back.

We were looking forward to going to this place to sample a Sunday roast. We made sure before hand they were serving lamb....so that was a clincher!! However, we were ushered in and given a small table directly next to the front door so it was cold. We also noticed dogs everywhere. We sat expectantly for some service or communication....but we got none. Eventually we twigged that you had to go to the bar to order food and drinks. On ordering the roast we learnt they had none/run out? So.....we left. Such a shame but sadly no communication skills or any friendly welcome and dogs. Not a good combination. Won't be going back.....

Updated review: I went to the Oystercatchers Cafe again after not having gone in a year or so, and I'm so glad that things are just as good as before! Once again, if you fancy delicious food and excellent service, do yourself a favor and visit this lovely place! Original review: This little cafe has become a regular place where I love to go. The food is always delicious, and the staff are always welcoming. They have a great menu with lots of choices, and their veggie/vegan options are amazing. My favorite is they deluxe vegan hot chocolate, you really can't go wrong with it, or with anything on the menu as a matter of fact! It's great to see that they also are doing everything they can to keep their customers and theirselves safe during the pandemic. I highly recommend this place!
