In my humble opinion the best pub in town. A proper "boozer" where you meet up with friends. Always a good selection of ales.

We've been to Teignmouth many times and can't believe we missed the gem of a pub. From been warmly greeted by the landlord and landlady, the great choice of drinks,a lovely area outside to sit in and friendly locals I can't recommend this place enough and we will definitely be revisiting when we are next in town.

Top pub. Updated food menu with more veggie options. Good beer. Nice staff and setting. Vegetarian options: Now include vegan burger, falafel salad, no fish goujons (and others I can't remember!)

Some friends & I went to The Blue Anchor Easter beer festival. We were impressed with the beers available, most of which we hadn't seen before. It was good to find several dark Porter's & Stout's on the list, as well as some lovely, happy golden ales, all at £4 per pint . 🍻🍻 Some of us were lucky to get a Traditional Pasty for £4 which came from Mini Heaven bakery, they were quite large with loads of filling & no empty spaces. 😋 I only gave 4 stars for the food because some of us had the traditional pasty, some tried the vegetarian pasty or the cheese & onion pasty & all were very good but we didn't try any other food, so I can't really score it.

The blue Anchor is a great place to go, fantastic Atmosphere great Beers 🍻 for the men,plenty of choice for the ladies. plus the landlord and landlady and top notch,also they put on lotts of entertainment for thire customers. It's a very welcoming place to drink and socialise. 😊

We saw a brilliant live band here this evening Conscious Club. Really nice vibe lovely venue. Just a few selfish people smoking even though there were no smoking signs.

Fantastic local public house. With amazing outside space for all the family including fabulous Christmas decorations in December/January! Also many local beers and spirits and the friendliest owners Luke and Adele. Pub is also dog friendly. Entertainment on outside at weekends. Well worth a visit.
