Consistently rude and unhelpful reception staff; docs/nurses are great when you get through - seriously thinking about going private :-(

Since my GP has come under the Channel View umbrella, I have been very impressed with the service we have received.
The staff are very caring and prompt with queries, the online service being particularly good. I made an online request at midday, by three o’clock, a prescription was sent to the pharmacy.
Everyone I have spoken to have been both efficient and very competent. They have also been kind and compassionate. Singling out Dr Chowdhury as being thorough and extremely helpful.
Thank you for all that you do.

I’ve had an excellent experience with this surgery today. Reception and doctor team very helpful. I know how stretched surgeries are so wanted to post how impressed I was. Thank you

The surgery is all over failing. You feel unworthy of a appointment when calling. Then if and when you do speak to a doctor they don't read your medical records and mess around with your medication all the time, which then messes with my stomach ulcers which was brought on by constantly changing my medication. I have recently taken myself to A&E due to the pain I'm being left in and they said there that channel view is a surgery they hate having to deal with due to their lack of professionalism.

Absolutely horrible reception service. Rude, dismissive and unhelpful. The insipid woman who I spoke to made me feel like I was doing something wrong by calling the doctors.
Why do we pay all this ridiculous tax to feel ridiculed for something I'm entitled too?!
Disgusting.

This star is only for the new website! The old version was easy to book appointments and order prescriptions but now you have the faf of going through the nhs app. Very good if you have the app but what about older people who have no idea! Also on a Sunday the nhs app does not seem to work!! Other than this I have always had great service from the staff.

You cant make an appointment without calling in the morning even for next month for example. "But ring first think or you wont be able to book one tomorrow either"!! Its not a same day emergency I need just an appointment!! Reception quiz you like they have a medical degree then book you an appointment they THINK you need because and I quote "they don't check the notes or anything" so you waste time attending for an appointment you don't even need but leave without an appointment you do need! Then to add to the whole frustrating situation how do you leave feedback/complaint???? nothing but the main phone line to talk to reception.

Had a number of contacts with admin, staff, doctors and nurses over the past few years and am very impressed with professionalism, care and attentiveness by all. It seems that the culture of compassion and collaborative, respectful care is really important at this surgery and I really hope these attitudes are maintained in spite of the current difficulties. I had the most amazing, kind and warm nurse do a rather difficult procedure this morning in the most exemplary way with all the compassion, skill and care imaginable. She was clearly rushed off her feet, running a bit late, but didn't rush me at any point and gave all the reassurance and comfort one could wish for. Top quality service and people! All staff deserve my deepest respect and gratitude.

I used to think this surgery was absolutely amazing and never had any faults. Now all three surgery's have combined its a nightmare to get through to your doctor. Someone who suffers with mental health likes the stability of speaking with the same person. I know this isn't always possible anyway but since they've combined its impossible to get through to someone you know. I have also been miss diagnosed on the phone three times which has had a detrimental affect on my mental health.
